How does crowdfunding work?

Through our partner SOMA.finance, we have the ability to offer regulated security tokens. These tokens would allow studios to raise funds by selling equity tokens to fans and the community in a compliant Regulation Crowdfunding (Reg. CF) offering.

Unlike platforms like Kickstarter, investors would actually own a piece of the studio in addition to receiving a copy of the game they are backing. Investment in a Reg. CF offering would require KYC/AML, and only be open to US investors, but would not require these investors to be accredited.
